The Lifted Brow’s print magazine is a quarterly journal of writing, art, ideas and creativity. It is distributed four times a year to stockists and subscribers in all parts of Australia and certain corners of the world, including the US, UK, and specifically targeted cities. Readers of our print magazine are intelligent and savvy, with public and private influence.
In full colour, printed ethically and environmentally-sustainably in Australia on superior paper stock, and measuring 200mm wide by 270mm high, its 128 pages are full of Australia’s and the world’s best writers and artists.

On our website we publish posts every single day, including original, web-specific pieces two to three times per week. We focus on commentary, criticism, investigative essays, lists, and interactive screen-friendly storytelling. We also run excerpts from our print and digital magazines, news items, and more. We carefully commission, select and edit pieces that will work best in the online publishing space, and we see a high rate of shares, likes, clicks and read-times on our posts.
As of July 2017, The Lifted Brow’s website receives an average of 609 unique visitors per day with an average of 793 page views per day (almost 290,000 page views per year). Visitors to the Brow’s website stay for an average of 1 minute and 43 seconds.
We offer one banner advertisment spot that sits smack-bang in the middle of our home page, alongside a TLB advertisement. We also offer a sidebar advertisement spot – this ad will appear alongside every piece of content.
You can book either or both of these advertisement spots for a week, a fortnight, or a month, with discounts applying.
If you purchase a month’s worth of advertising, we are able to change your ad artwork every week or fortnight, at your request.
We send out an enews update once a week, every week, on Saturday mornings, to our 9000+ enewsletter subscribers. Our emails have an average open rate of 43%. We offer banner advertisements, or we can offer an editorial feature, which includes an image and 150 words of text of your choice.
We have 12,000+ followers on Facebook, 12,000+ followers on Twitter, and nearing 4,000 followers on Instagram. We can work across all three platforms with your campaign, or one or two. Costs depend on what kind of campaign and which platforms.
We run all kinds of events, including launches, music gigs, readings lectures, debates, panels, and more.
